The Pumpkin Patch That Almost Was

We had so much fun a few weeks ago at the Pumpkin Patch with Mom, Kirsten, and the cousins. Peter LOVES his cousins and gets so excited to spend time with them... even if it's a weird, impromptu pumpkin patch fiasco. We met at the pumpkin patch on a beautiful, sunny, warm day to pick out some cool pumpkins and explore a hay-bale maze. But before we made it to the actual pumpkin field to find our pumpkins, we were attacked by the worst gust of wind ever! We ran to the cars for cover, laughed about it for a good ten minutes, and then decided to drive over to Harmon's to pick our pumpkins out of a wooden crate instead. We also got frozen yogurt (with fish eggs! Ah!), and made a random stop to the Halloween section of the grocery store. We rounded the evening out with dinner at Kirsten's house. It was a fun and random day together. Peter loved it! I love how he's holding his bottle in every picture.
