Pa!

Peter LOVES his Grandpa Dave ("Pa!").

He can hardly stand the excitement when he knows Grandpa's at the door or when we pull into his driveway. When he does something funny, he looks Grandpa Dave to be sure that he saw it. 

It's a good thing we named him Peter after his Grandpa Dave (Pete) Petersen!

Tonight Grandpa Dave brought by a new toy car and a toy motorcycle just for fun (Peter's newest obsession is cars. He drives them around the ottoman over and over...). We hung out, ate cheesecake, and watched Peter show off for Grandpa. This obsession with his Grandpa started last spring. A year later, Peter is still (and even more so) his biggest fan.

Grandpa Dave is probably Peter's biggest fan, too. He is always threatening to snatch him and run to Mexico.

I think that sounds pretty good. Can Mom and Dad come too?
