American Girls

One of the highlights of the trip was a trip to the American Girl Doll store to get some special look-alike dolls for the girls. They had so much fun picking and playing with their dolls together. I know they will be more and more fun for the girls as they get older. It was a fun memory to create for these three cousins. THANK YOU, Mom and Dad, for the dolls and for this trip in general. It brought pure sunshine to my house.

SJ got a special doll and decided to name her Rosie. That was my suggestion after some pretty solid discussion. She was leaning toward Sparkle at first.  Kirst, what was the other name she liked? Peter keeps asking me if SJ has her Rosie doll at her house. I think he wants to be sure she's well taken care of.

Brooklyn and Emmy got Bitty Twins, and they are so cute! I love that our girls are three months apart. They are going to have so much fun together as they grow. I love having a daughter the same age as my sister's daughter. It is really fun to watch them grow up together. Who knows if the girls will rename their dolls as they grow older, but for now their mom's have decided that they are Meggie and Maggie :)

This is Brooklyn's first real experience with a doll, and she takes good care of it, naturally, between the bottle-feedings, the kisses, and the poking of the baby's eyes.

Kirst, this picture of your girls is so cute. Emmy's smile!

Cute Peter took good care of his Jaguar Cub while the girls cared for their dolls. And he was very careful to make sure each girl had their doll at all times.
