Apparently all the lakes close on Labor Day, so I'm really happy we were able to squeeze one last beach afternoon. We got home from camping, put the kids down for naps, and then made our way to Lake Riley... which did not disappoint. It was beautiful and relaxing. And Peter was obsessed with the big park there. I'll definitely have to take him to that park throughout the fall. So sad we didn't discover this place until the end of the summer. But we've had a great summer, so it's fine. I am continually amazed by how many beautiful lakes are within fifteen minutes of our house. It's been a magical summer. Brooklyn had been carried and crawling throughout our entire camping trip, so she was happy to let loose and practice her walking skills. She is a total beach babe and loves fists-full of sand.
